About this house rental
Wonderful Lakehouse getaway just 10 minutes from Historic Fairhaven in Bellingham, WA. Situated on beautiful Lake Samish, the Lakehouse is just a short 5-minute drive to Galbraith Mountain, the Chuckanut trail system, Larabee State Park, and Lake Padden. World class mountain biking and hiking just minutes from your door!
The space:
Enjoy full lake access and beautiful scenic views. Enjoy the use of kayaks and the hot tub. Build a lakefront fire and roast marshmallows and enjoy the beauty of Lake Samish.
Guest accesss:
Guests have full access to the house, yard, and lake.
Other things to note:
We want you to enjoy the house and not feel you have to tiptoe around it! The Lakehouse is well maintained, however it is an older home that is often filled with lots of busy, happy children. Be prepared for scuff marks and imperfections. The bathrooms and kitchen are clean and maintained but a little outdated. We hope to be able to make such improvements over time.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is as described. The hot tub was epic! Just what we needed. Stunning views.
Beds are comfy.
It’s dog friendly (thank you for the treats!).

My husband, sister, two grown sons and 2 active dogs spent a great 5 days on the shores of Lake Samish. Daily hikes/walks, kayaking, reading, working puzzles, playing pool, enjoying the spectacular light reflected off the water, and eating, eating, eating. Excellent communication and problem solving by the hosts ironed out early wrinkles. Our 4-footed family enjoyed the doggie basket and especially bunny watching from the balcony.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The host was accommodating and even left a nice gift for our arrival. The setting and decor are beautiful and nothing is better than being right on the lake!
