We highly recommend bringing your own vehicle or renting a car once you arrive via ferry. While Orcas Island is walkable in some areas, many of the island’s most scenic spots—like Moran State Park, Cascade Lake, and Turtleback Mountain—are best reached by car.

This property is perfect and exceeded our expectations of location, design, amenities (especially the well-equipped kitchen). Eastsound shops and dining are an easy few-minutes drive away. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and coffee for the morning - such lovely touches. There was plenty of space for our family of three to spread out and because the bedrooms are on the bottom floor, sleepers were not disturbed by early risers. We would definitely rebook this property.

The house was in a great locution. Very quiet location in the woods away from downtown. But very close to everything else on the island. The kitchen was well furnished and had about everything you would need. The BBQ was clean with an extra tank on standby. We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to Orcas Island and it was by far the best with this home playing a big part. It was absolutely perfect for my husband and myself. The rooms were all so cozy and beautifully decorated. All one needs when staying at this home is a suitcase of personal belongings as everything else is provided for a wonderful vacation
