About this cabin rental
Experience one of the largest log cabins available to rent on Orcas! The views, the landscape, the surroundings, the peacefulness is nothing that the pictures can capture. You have to experience the cabin in person to appreciate the serenity and abundance of amenities. If you're into cooking and baking, the kitchen is well stocked, this is the place! Like the great Warren Miller said, "If you don't come up this year, you'll be 1 year older when you do.."

Jason was a wonderful host! Great communication and quick response whenever we had a question. He recommended restaurants in the area for our birthday celebration. The Timber Lodge was fantastic! We loved everything: the comfortable beds, hot tub, movie theatre, BBQ, outdoor chess, loaded kitchen. It was a wonderful experience!

What a perfect place to relax and reconnect! We loved staying at Timber Lodge on so many levels. The views, gorgeous home, well equipped kitchen and multiple fun activities to do within and around the home made our stay outstanding. What was truly the best was the comfort and ability to disconnect, sleep deeply and comfortably and just enjoy being together without any pressure. Many thanks for the opportunity to enjoy this spectacular property! You have outdone yourselves.

Clean, beautiful house and property. Has our family pictures taken here and it was perfect. Manager was very responsive when needed. Would recommend!

The property was just as described. Well taken care of and definitely well stocked with kitchen appliances, plates, silverware, etc. A great selection of spices and everything needed to take care of your family and friends.Very comfortable beds, linens, etc. Plenty of games and things to do. The view is great and the whole place is very relaxing. We all had a great time and definitely would return.The location is convenient to groceries, restaurants and vacation shopping. The grocery store is well stocked and prices are not out of sight, but reflect living on an island. Speaking of living on an island - make sure you plan for your transportation on the Washington State Ferries. Reservations are a good idea.The owner is very organized and has detailed binders with instructions on everything. Some people have complained about the detail. I appreciated it and fully understand that the owner wants to preserve their beautiful property for themselves and the enjoyment of their guests.If you have more than two cars the parking and driveway setup will require a little juggling, but once you've figured out a routine it is no problem. There is only room for 4 cars.Our only problem was a racoon who figured out how to get through the garbage storage barriers and left some trash on the ground that we had to clean up . . . not a big deal!The island is beautiful and fun to explore. The cabin is just as described and it is great! Our first Vrbo rental and it was all very easy to deal with.
