The cottage features partial ocean views with a fully fenced front yard. Amenities include hot tub, 3 kayaks, propane fire pit, and BBQ. The 2 story floor plan is perfect for multiple couples or 2 small families, featuring a bedroom (q), 3/4 bathroom and kitchenette with small living area and TV in daylight basement. Main floor features large living area with deck access, Main Bedroom (k), Full bathroom and Kitchen/dining room.
Signed rental agreement required prior to check-in. $100 pet fee for 1 dog. An additional $50 for a second dog.

The host, Larry, was very quick to reply and helpful. The location was close to town but not too close, offering peace and quiet and more of a rural feel. The parking was perfect. More detailed instructions for the fire table, hot tub, and appliances would have been helpful and not required so many questions to ask of the host. Extra bed linens would have been appreciated. Instructions regarding recycling would have been helpful.

Overall, we had a great experience! The spa was wonderful, the kayaks were a highlight, and the fire pit made for relaxing evenings. We didn’t use the e-bike, but it was a nice option to have available. A larger life jacket would’ve been helpful, but we made it work.Be sure to check out the beach access down the road — it’s unmarked and easy to miss, which meant we had it mostly to ourselves. The neighbor next to the path was also very friendly, and it turned out to be one of the best spots to watch the sunrise.The house itself was clean and the kitchen fairly well-stocked. Do note that you’ll need to sign a rental agreement outside of VRBO that limits outdoor amenity use between 9:30 PM and 7 AM to keep noise down. There was also a bit of a musty smell in the downstairs area.All in all, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property for a peaceful Orcas Island getaway.

It was a perfect location, close to downtown and whale watching. I was celebrating my birthday. The grill, hot tub and puzzles/games were great. The kitchen was well stocked and beds comfortable.
