Featuring an open layout to spread out and relax, as well as tall windows to admire the ocean and nature views, you’ll be leaving all of your problems behind as soon as you step inside this home. Gather around the smart TV to watch your favorite shows or maybe continue streaming your series. The wooden touches throughout the house will give you that rural, yet elegant vibe you’ve been looking for.
Moran State Park is located seven miles southeast and offers over 5,000 acres of lakes, forests, hills, hiking trails, and more! Turtleback Mountain Trailhead is also nearby and offers a stunning view of the entire sound. Orcas Island Winery is a hidden gem on the island with locally made wines and a great atmosphere. Go explore charming Eastsound and Main Street which offers a variety of restaurants, shops, and cafes. If you took a ferry in, Boat House Cider Works is a great place to sit and have a drink while you wait.

The house was located on a very long and winding road. The view was great when it was clear. There were a few minor problems. The secondary bathroom blind didn't close but then there was no one even near the location. I was told that was repaired
We enjoyed the stay . There was a loft which we didn't use. The house felt empty although there was enough furniture. It just wasn't very homey.

We stay in this beautiful home. It has all the amenities and more! Incredible view all day long and the sunsets were just amazing.
I hope to come back and stay here again!!

The view was spectacular, there are some deck chairs and we loved the place. The kitchen was decently equipped but better for pre prepped food. Take tea and coffee, none there. We also experienced the sulfur smelling water although it was not too severe. Beds were comfortable, We would definitely book again.

We loved pretty much everything about this property except that bedroom window coverings were mostly missing! While not a privacy issue since the home is very remote, it was an issue in terms of light and just feeling more comfortable closing blinds at night (just in case). So, if you are up with the sun and a lot of light coming into the bedroom is not an issue for you, there is no concern. It was hard for me so I had to sleep under an umbrella that we brought (thank goodness).
The biggest issue was the horrible smell of the water all throughout the house. It was a scent of rotten eggs (my husband knew what it was) and, while Vacasa was very responsive and sent a team to the house, there was nothing they could do about it. Apparently, at certain times of the year, this happens so be sure that it is not an issue when you are traveling.
The person who I communicated with from Vacasa about all of this was excellent and, even though we were disappointed by this, she did her best to be responsive all the way through. Due to this, I would rent with Vacasa again. She was spectacular!!
