About this apartment rental
Casale La Querce, a typical building of Tuscany, was built at the end of the eighteenth century by the peasants of prince Chigi, certainly the noblest Italian families in the area. The Casale was renovated in the eighties and a particular care was devoted to bring it back to its original beauty. Same care has been taken in furnishing the house with family antique furniture and precious Tuscan pieces. The garden offers cozy corners with flowers and bushes as well as an incredible cypress walk overlooking the sweet Siena countryside and Siena itself.
The aparment offers a very large double bedroom another room with two beds, a large living room with fireplace and two sofa beds, a lovely kitchen and a large bathroom. There is a bus stop just outside the entrance which can take you to the village in 5 minutes and to Siena in half an hour. The area is surrounded by the most beautiful villages of Tuscany: San Gimignano, Pienza, Monteriggioni, Rapolano with its famous Spa and the whole Chianti shire.

We had a pleasent stay at the appartment which is part of a large building in which more people live. The appartment is spacious and decorated with a lot of antique furniture. The windows are small, so during the day, it is quite dark inside. The kitchen is cosy but also a bit dated. During our stay, we noticed that the table and chairs in garden had to be shared with the other people who live in the house. Also the table is quite old and positioned under a green roof which is now so low hanging, that you have to bend to reach your chair. So that is something that could be improved. The other people who live in the same building were extremely friendly.
The location is perfect, very close to many beautiful cities.
