    Nice location. Not really walking distance to main eating areas but easy drive. Clean room and facilities. My child loved the indoor pool and hot tub for an evening swim.

    Stargazer Inn is located on Munras, about 15 min walk to central Monterey & Municipal Wharf. It's set back from the road, so it is fairly quiet. The decor is older but rooms are comfortable + indoor pool/jacuzzi. Very reasonable rates for Mty. No breakfast, so you have to hike/drive to downtown or DelMonte Mall for food.

    Pool had some issue with the hot tub for cold. Pool was freezing. First night it was on. Warm enough next 2 nights couldn't use it. Ugh. Near enough to drive to places to see. No breakfast though.
