    The flooring and bed wasn’t bad. Two flat pillows. Waft of urine scent in bed. Bathroom door didn’t close due to bad hinge. Hair in tub. Soap jammed in bathroom sink. Overall kind of gross. Office staff was not very friendly. I told them of the issue and they didn’t care. Rate was *** because it was an event weekend. Rate is normally ***. I thought it might be better quality because it is Monterey. Nope. Lesson learned. Ever again.

    Lights by bed don’t work. Shower doesn’t get warm unless you let the water run for 30 minutes. WiFi doesn’t work. Lots of homeless people hanging around. Most of the channels on tv didn’t work . Won’t be coming back to this location.

    Really enjoyed the stay- mainly because the cost was $***cheaper than a higher quality motel. The only downside was the bed was a little small for 2 people and slept in our own separate beds due to the fact that there was so much room that way. Also the TV didn’t work well in my mom’s room. It had some reception but the guide channel was fuzzy.
