    The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, check in experience is so good as early check in is available whenever the room is ready. The room is well designed with spectacular lake view. Access is very convenient as we were at level 4 which is actually the street level. Restaurant is as nice as the room, food is great especially the cordon bleu.

    The hotel is nice with very nice view. Staff members were friendly and helpful. Location is a bit far from the city centre, though it’s easily accessible by bus. I suggest booking directly with the hotel. Agoda’s service was poor. It even charged much higher than the agreed price. I reserved the hotel room via Agoda, but eventually it’s Expedia that charged me. I only found that out when I checked in the hotel. It’s a bit ridiculous. Otherwise, the stay with Hermitage is nice and enjoyable.

    This hotel was such a disappointment. I wanted to like it, but I warn you not to stay here. First: It’s infested with bugs and mosquitos that kept appearing despite never opening the sliding doors. I couldn’t even use the tub because there would be at least 20 insects in the tub each night and by morning even more all over the room (nightstands, tables, sinks). Second: there’s only 1 true restaurant. When I went for dinner they said they were fully booked as I looked around at 20 open tables. The hotel never reached out to ask me to make a reservation which they should if it’s truly that busy, plus good hotels hold tables for guests. I was forced to eat in the lobby off a tiny menu with bar food that was gross. When I got lunch at the restaurant the next day it was the most bland food. I tried room service - worst burger of my life. The food is bad AND the service is bad - very European where you get no attention. Same at their beach club on site - 1 drink over 2 hours…. Not acceptable. Lastly, when I asked for a 12pm checkout instead of 11am they told me 1 extra hour would cost 100 Swiss Francs. That is insane, and it was a Monday. I would never return here. The view is nice yes, but not worth the bugs in your bed and bad food. On top it claims to be dog friendly but they ban the dogs from the only place you can lay out on chairs. Even better, they advertise air conditioning but it doesn’t much because they positioned it at the front door where it can’t reach the room. Bad decision. And this is what you get for *** a night USD. Stay elsewhere.
