Absolutely fantastic! I can’t tell you how beautiful the house and property is! Pictures do not do it justice. Spotlessly clean, and tastefully furnished. Kitchen is very well stocked. Monique and Pierre-Jean, the hosts, were amazing in every way. The location is perfect for walking to all major sites. Where can you ever sit and have a glass of wine with a view of a castle in your backyard? We were a family of 3 in our sixties sharing the house. The house is secured by large locked gates and the hosts live on site, but it is never intrusive. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed in Europe. Don’t hesitate to book if you’re looking at this. We are already dreaming of going back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Les Clos Richelieu. PJ and Monique were amazing hosts and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. The location of the home is just a couple minutes from the château where all the shops and restaurants are, making this the perfect spot for your Amboise stay. The grounds of the home are stunning with plenty of room for kids to run around and play and adults to relax in a lovely private courtyard. The house itself was perfect for our group of 5 adults and 2 kids. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, a great kitchen for cooking up dinner with our finds from the market, and great amenities overall. If you're looking to stay in Amboise, and you should, you should definitely stay here.

We loved our time at Le Clos Richelieu. The home had everything you could ever need and is very spacious. PJ and Monique and their family were very welcoming and helpful. Perfectly located for site seeing and restaurants in Amboise. Everything is walking distance. We highly recommend.

Beautiful home, exactly as shown in the pictures, very clean, plenty of space. Gorgeous back yard with a nice area for outdoor dining and a view of Amboise castle. The owners live on the premises but are very discreet and very helpful and courteous. Highly recommend this home and would definitely rent it again if we come to the Loire valley.Superbe!
