Very bright, charming Touraine house of 110 m² with landscaped garden of 300 m², completely renovated, in a quiet hamlet overlooking the Loire and bordering the Loire à Vélo circuit.
Located 5 minutes from the Château d'Amboise and the city center, in the heart of the Loire castles: Chenonceau, Chaumont, Blois. BEAUVAL ZOO 30 mins away
Holiday house that can accommodate 4/6 people:
- On the ground floor: fully equipped fitted kitchen, a large, very bright living room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the garden,
a bathroom with walk-in shower and wc .
- Upstairs :
2 master bedrooms with 140 cm bed (new bedding)
1 junior bedroom with comfortable sofa bed 140 bed (new)
1 office with internet connection.
1 bathroom and 1 separate toilet
The garden is landscaped, flowery, pleasant with a dining area for 6 people
The courtyard is closed - you will feel peaceful, calm, enjoying your meal outside in the shade of the Albizzia, admiring the Touraine countryside.

Cute cottage 2 miles outside of Amboise. Very quant 3 bedroom. Sleeps 6 comfortably. Town was a great location for visiting Chateaus and wineries.

Francoise was a wonderful host and though she didn't speak English and we didnt speak French, Google Translate meant we we were able to communicate perfectly satisfactorily.The house is rather quaint but it's delightful, was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. It is located on the outskirts of Amboise so you will need a car to get anywhere in the town or the area. Amboise is close to numerous chateaux and wineries and the house is an excellent base for day trips in the Loire region.We stayed 5 nights and apart from the house not having a Smart TV we were more than satisfied with the house and the location. We highly recommend Francoise's property.

This house is adorable and convenient to the chateaux of the Loire Valley, and the local grocery store/ gas station. The gardens are beautiful and well maintained. On this topic, the property owner did come unannounced while we were gone to water the gardens. Everyone (including the owner) was a bit surprised when we came back from our chateau excursions to see her there. So, maybe in the future, advance notice to the renter would resolve this. I still give the property a 5 star rating and would stay again. The owner is very nice and, knowing we were newly weds, was so sweet to have given us a bottle of champagne to enjoy together upon our arrival.The town of Amboise is great with lots of restaurants and things to do for visitors of all ages and my husband, who hates urban driving found it extremely easy to navigate.

Overall we were pleased with the stay though there were areas that could be improved. These include lack of comfortable outside seating-just hard seats and uncomfortable folding loungers. The interior also lacked comfortable seating. We didn’t like having to strip all beds at the end of the stay.Franchise was very helpful, property just needs some updating.
