About this house rental
Let yourself be tempted by this spacious, independent house of 150 m2, surrounded by fruit trees and flowers.
On the ground floor you will find:
- A double living room with equipped American kitchen
- 2 large bedrooms
- a bathroom with bathtub
- Separate toilets
- A large glazed veranda allowing direct access to the garden.
Upstairs:
- 2 bedrooms
- A shower room
- Separate toilets
Outside, a paved terrace, equipped with garden furniture and a parasol.
In the shade of the trees, you will rest in the deckchairs or cook on the barbecue.
Located in a picturesque village of Touraine, the house, although close to the fields, is only 500 m from the center. There you will find a grocery store, butcher, restaurant, cafes and even a shopping center. A few kilometers away, Chateaurenault awaits you with its many shops, its brand new nautical center, its cinema, its Tannery museum.
Within a radius of 60 km, you can discover many castles in the Loire Valley (listed as World Heritage by Unesco): Tours, Amboise, Chenonceaux, Chaumont and its international garden festival, Azay le rideau, Blois. .
Many walks or bike rides are also possible in the vineyards of Vouvray, for example, which offers you a land of famous wines (dry or sweet white, sparkling, etc ...). You will be able to taste them in numerous cellars, just like the wines of Bourgueil, Chinon, Saumur, Champigny etc ...
In Amboise, in addition to the castle, the Clos Lucé, the mini castles, the Aquarium and the Château Gaillard are ready to welcome you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this property. It is Ideally located for visiting the towns of Tours, Amoise and Blois. The magnificant chateaus of Chambord, Amboise and Chenonceau are not far and the world class Beauval Zoo is a comfortable 40 minute drive away.
The gite is comfortable, well eqipped and in a quiet residential street close to open land.
Christine was a charming hostess who quickly answered all the questions we had prior to our visit.
Highly recommended.

Beautiful house in a wonderful garden. We were mesmerised by the resident red squirrel who dashed around the garden throughout our stay!
Everything we could have wished for was there. Plenty of crockery, glassware and every conceivable pot, pan and kitchen implement was there. Super little walk into the village where there is a splendid boulangerie for our morning croissants and bread. There is also a L'epicerie for milk and staples, and the journey to the Intermarche at Chateau-Renault is only a 10 minute drive. The hosts were excellent in their communications, and contacted us when the weather turned a little colder to ask if we needed the heating on. Really considerate of them, but coming from Yorkshire we are used to the cold!
Lovely beds and duvets, and having the shutters closed meant I slept in every morning as it stayed nice and dark.
Downsides? None. I will definitely book this place again when we return to the Loire valley.

Very dated , though roomy interior - but huge garden. Everything worked and well equipped. If you want modern, smart chic this isn’t it - but our family had a lovely stay - lots of safe space for children to stay and sweet village .
