About this cottage rental
Welcome to the peace and tranquility of the beautiful 'Fleurs de Glycine' riverside gite. The gite has three floors and sleeps four. The ground floor has a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine, a dining area and a sitting area with freesat English Sky TV and French TV channels and DVD a player. Stairs lead you to the first floor which has a vintage styled bedroom with a double bed (137cm x 190cm), with juliette balcony and separate shower and WC room. Take the second flight of stairs to find the pretty twin bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm x 190cm), with its own bathroom. Hairdryers are provided in each room. Gas central heating keeps the gite toasty warm in winter. High chair and cot available on request.
We recommend that you have a car for exploring the local area and we provide on site parking. If you want to relax at the gite you can enjoy our peaceful shared garden which has all the essentials to help you relax: sun loungers, barbecue, picnic blanket and cold bags, petanque set.
We also have a selection of DVD's, books and games we can loan you during your stay.
On arrival you will receive a Welcome pack to help you settle in.
The Gite is one of only two on site.

Fantastisch Frans huisje, perfect ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Lieve Engelse mensen. Locatie ligt afgelegen maar is prachtig om te fietsen.

Un gîte très propre et bien aménagé avec un joli jardin au bord de la Creuse. Les propriétaires sont très agréables, dommage qu'ils ne parlent pas français, la barrière de la langue ne nous a pas permis de communiquer.
Un petit reproche malgré tout, c'est que sur l'annonce Abritel, la photo du gîte ne fait pas état que l'autre aile du bâtiment est un autre gîte et il y a trop de proximité entre les deux et pas vraiment d'intimité ; heureusement que les autres locataires, anglais eux aussi, étaient très sympathiques et non bruyants. Là encore, barrière de la langue, dommage. Il suffirait juste de mettre des bacs ou des pots avec des arbustes pour avoir un semblant d'intimité.
Sinon très bon séjour, calme et reposant.

Had a wonderful week at la glycine with great weather. This lovely little farmhouse is very well equipped with everything you need and very clean. Dawn and john are very accommodating and extremely friendly, would highly recommend this property for a restful stay by the riverside and its lovely big garden. A big thank you to Dawn and john for the lovely welcome pack on our arrival.

Nos alojamos en la casita que nos proporcionaron John y Dawn Carter durante una semana, es un lugar muy cuidado y con todo lujo de detalles para hacer la estancia cómoda como si estuvieras en tu propia casa.
