It combines historical features with modern comforts. Chinon has a medieval castle and an old town. An ideal location for visiting famous wine estates and Loire châteaux, Sumur, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry and close to Montsoreau, Candes St. Martin and the old town of Tours. Une location dabs un Chateau est toujours quelque chose d'exceptionnel, le site de la Vauguyon avec vue sur la forteresse de Chinon est vraiment remarquable.
Le propriétaire est très sympathique, le logement très spacieux et le jardin très agréable . Les équipements ne sont pas très modernes mais tout est très correct.

Gîte 2 is een ruime accommodatie en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht is magnifiek: wijngaarden met in de verte het château van Chinon in volle glorie! Je wordt omringd met geluiden uit de natuur. En ook erg fijn: iedere dag verse baguette en croissants, want de boulanger is op loopafstand, via de velden.
