Beautiful house in a beautiful location.

Nothing to dislike.

This apartment was the top (second EU/third USA) floor of an older building right on Place St. Maurice. We were four 65+ years old folks so it was a little daunting climbing all of the stairs when we first arrived. But we managed. There are a 4 +/- parking spaces right in Place St. Maurice but you have to get pay slip from the bigger lot about 60 meters away. The location was good right in the middle of town and we loved having the afternoon organ music from the church drift in through the open windows. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. We only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The washing machine and dryer are in the basement. We didn't use them, but it would be a lot of stairs from the top floor to access this equipment. We never met or saw the owner. All contact was through the text and we access the building through a door code with the keys waiting for us in our apartment. The kitchen was well-stocked with equipment so we were able to have simple breakfasts and dinners in the apartment.

Customers should be aware that the toilet and bath facilities for this unit are: 1 shower and sink in a separate room with door, one toilet in its own room, and second shower and sink in the corner of the bedroom off of the dining room and kitchen. It appears to definitely be a French way of doing bathrooms and toilets, but Americans should be aware that this unit only has one toilet and it is all by itself in a separate small room. So, yes, the apartment has 2 BATHROOMS, but only 1 TOILET.

The laundry was in a dungeon like basement - I chose this property thinking the washing machine and dryer would be in our penthouse apartment - also it was not a hotel - it was like an airbnb as no reception and no one to meet us upon entry - very disappointing
