About this house rental
Casa Monella is a charming tower house with stunning sea views from all windows. The property is located in a characteristic Ligurian village just 2 km from the Borgo di San Terenzio, with a beautiful sandy beach, as well as the resort, Venere Venere, another beautiful bay adjacent to sand. Furthermore, Casa Monella is only 5 km from the seaside resort of Lerici, which is known for its seaside promenade and pastel houses clinging to the hill overlooking the Gulf of Poets. With wonderful restaurants, typical shops, tennis courts, swimming pools, a 9-hole golf course and perfectly maintained beaches, as well as multiple paths through the olive trees to reach places such as Tellaro, Montemarcello, Fiascherino. Following an extensive restoration process completed in autumn 2014, the owner in 2017 decided to share her beautiful home with guests who wish to explore this area of Liguria. Throughout the house the owner has used soft light colors that give the structure a particular atmosphere of charm, so refined and singular furnishings, tastefully combining antique furniture with modern touches: she has really done a great job to make guests feel at home. home even if far away!
The tower house is spread over three levels; upon entering there is a small room that leads to the stairwell up to the second and main floor of the structure. Entering this floor there is a small living area with a kitchen and large windows overlooking the sea. Just outside the lounge there are 3 double bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have a private bathroom and the third bathroom is located just outside the bedroom door. The staircase then leads guests to the upper floor where the main kitchen and dining area are located. The kitchen / dining room leads to the panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, where guests can dine by candlelight enjoying splendid sunsets for an unforgettable holiday.

It was absolutely amazing. The home had tons of character. Straight out of the story books of Italy. Nice breeze blowing throughout the house with the windows open. Great kitchen for cooking. Balcony dinners were the best. The walking streets outside of the home were very magical as well. Only negative was limited parking but a minor problem for such a great place.

Mara was the most amazing host and truly made us feel special and at home right away. Her house is so beautiful and tasteful, impeccably decorated as well. The house had the most amazing views! Everything was clean and comfortable. Mara was so helpful with booking restaurants, taxis, etc. I have never had this great of an experience with a VRBO! Thank you Mara!

Mara was an amazing host. She took great care of us and helped us navigate the area. The accomodations were charming and just as described. The views were amazing. The residence is located a bit further from La Spezia than I realized, so planning transportation is important. There is a wonderful restauranr, Pin Bon, within walking distance. I highly recommend this property.

If you are looking for a quintessential yet modern Italian home, you have found the one right here. The owner is beyond helpful and it is located in the cutest little town atop a hill adjacent to La Spezia. The bus system is efficient once you figure it out and of course the trains allow travel to anyplace.
