Villa Senni is an eighteenth century house belonging to the Marquis Frescobaldi, recently renovated. It has been divided into six spacious apartments, which have retained their ancient architectural style. The Villa is immersed in the green valley of Mugello, near Florence, in a panoramic position that allows easy access to other major regional centers such as Siena, Lucca, Pisa. They are also possible rail links starting from the Borgo San Lorenzo station. Comfortably furnished with period furniture. The property is surrounded by a beautiful park with trees of about 10.000sqm equipped with barbecue and tables for outdoor dining. Wi-Fi. The apartments share between them a private parking and a charging station for electric vehicles, a swimming pool in style board with stone opening hours from 9.00am to 7.30pm (7m. x 15m. prof. 150cm.) and a room for the laundry equipped with washing machines for a fee. Each apartment is equipped with satellite TV and on request you can add an extra bed, which will be paid upon arrival.
The property is located at 3 km. from Scarperia (famous for the production of knives and for the international circuit of Mugello), 3 km from Borgo San Lorenzo , 9 km from Vicchio (birthplace of Giotto and Fra Angelico), 30 km from Florence, 18 km from the Barberino Designer Outlet (over 100 stores of big brands of Italian and international fashion) and Lake of Bilancino (canoeing, sailing, windsurfing), 8 km the "Poggio dei Medici Golf Club", 10 km away from riding school.

Nous étions à la campagne, dans un grand domaine divisé en plusieurs appartements, le notre était vaste (170m2) et bien frais étant donné la canicule extérieure. Le mobilier était rustique et historique mais tout y était, si ce n'est le lave vaisselle! La piscine était très bien entretenue, toujours libre. Il faut 3/4 d'heure pour rejoindre Florence en voiture, mais tout le nécessaire était à Scarperia et Borgo San Lorenzo, sites historiques, marchés, magasins.Le circuit de moto du Mugello est à 3 km, pour les passionnés!

Something a little different perhaps. I knew from the on line blurb that the apartment was a good size, but it felt huge! There was certainly more than enough room for everyone to have their own space... Inside and out! The swimming pool was lovely ... Given the temperatures, it would have been nice to be able to use the pool later in the evening too. It's situation makes it a good place for exploring Tuscany, especially Florence and Pisa. Lots of lovely local restaurants.
