About this cottage rental
Situated close to Knodishall village, this homely barn conversion sleeps six and boasts spectacular grounds and countryside views. It’s the ideal getaway for a family or group of friends wanting tranquillity and easy access to the beach.
Inside, the property is all cheerful decor, coolness, and easy comfort. The open-plan living area is a sociable space with colourful sofas in the lounge that invite you to sit and unwind in front of the TV. When it’s time to eat a well-equipped kitchen overlooks the lounge so you can whip up a meal and still be part of the conversation. Dine at the rustic table seating six people, then retreat to the lounge and snooze in a chair in front of the wood burner. There’s also a lovely king-size bedroom and shower room on this floor. From the ground floor, stairs sweep up to the first floor and the remaining two bedrooms. Featuring a king-size bed and twin beds, both rooms are bright, breezy, and pleasantly furnished. They also share an immaculate family bathroom. Outside there’s a private patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ, perfect for al fresco dining. Guests also have access to the extensive lawn that is shared with guests at East Barn Cottage. Enjoy garden games, relax in a shady spot, or play tennis on the tennis court.
Stroll to Knodishall village (0.5 miles) and soak up the tranquil setting then enjoy a drink and a bite-to-eat at the local pub. For a day at the beach, head to Aldeburgh (3 miles) and swim in the sea or try your hand at sailing. In Aldeburgh, golf lovers can also enjoy a round of golf at the 18-hole or 9-hole golf course.
