This classic Chico porch house lies on the historic Humboldt Wagon Road. The interior features a light and airy atmosphere with new amenities throughout. The property backs up to Little Chico Creek with greenbelt on one side and friendly neighbors on the other. Only seven blocks to Bidwell park and downtown!

The only immediately relevant issue is the back door. It only locks the outside knob, which means if you have not checked the lock before going outside, you may have locked yourself out of the house. (happened twice). Otherwise, house is fine, and well stocked. The house is in an older neighborhood with all the pluses and minuses that that entails. There is a large park at the very end of the street, (some distance away) which I ran thru but there did seem to be some homeless folks in that area. The host is attentive and helpful and responds quickly. We had an enjoyable stay.

Rogers was a great host who communicated well. The property was very nice and close to the things we were interested in.It was well stocked with coffee, towels and kitchen ware too. Very comfortable!

Such a cute house, super close to downtown, has everything you could need! The owner responded right away when I had a question. Would definitely stay here again!

It's a nice place to stay and plenty of yard for my doggos. Just not much communication with property manager. Not until I asked a question. But, I would stay again.
