It was different with its Thai influenced decorating. Staff that we met were very helpful.

After a walk to familiarise our selves with the area, we asked to get a drink at the bar, but were told that the bar wasn’t opening at all ! We mentioned breakfast but were told that as we hadn’t pre ordered, they hadn’t bought anything for a continental breakfast full English isn’t an option.

Great location to the town. Easily walkable distance. Always parking available. Easy to find. Rooms always exceptionally clean. No fuss. Staff very friendly and helpful. Bigger rooms a bit quirky with some character and decor is loud. Value for money. No frills. Worked in the bar area or dining area after check out. If you want a clean room and bed for the night this hotel is absolutely fine.

Nothing to complain or have concerns about. If you want frills, food and fancy this is not the place.

The owner was lovely, very friendly and chatty. He even gave us a lift into town as bad weather. We booked for one night, and decided to stay for two nights. Music in hotel was lovely, decor lovely too. Bed very comfy. Good outside parking. Good location to town.

Unfortunately the restaurant was closed. We would have loved to sample their authentic thai food. But alas we could not. We were worried about bringing our own food into the room as signage showed there was a £500 fine!! But we needed to eat, and owner said it was okay- Thankfully. Shower had mould on wall and ceiling. We only had half a toilet roll between two people for our stay. Were not offered extra milk/coffee/towels etc for our extra night/day stay. Extractor fan in shower room was so dusty, it fell out into sink when switched on. Big rust ring on window. The sign outside says under new management, and there is work that needs to be done to bring it up to standard. Would benefit for air freshener/spray in shower room. As no windows.
