This hotel is very central making access to the town’s facilities quick and easy. Lack of hot breakfast is not a problem as a local Wetherspoons is in close proximity. Value is outstanding but checking in is difficult with no respite from the busy road outside. Parking is available short term (2hrs) free or all day for £10 in the NCP. Room was clean and tidy with en-suite shower/toilet. No bath for those that prefer that method. Our room was situated at the rear of the hotel so very quiet and a view of the canal basin and boats. I imagine the rooms at the front of the hotel might suffer with some traffic noise.

Exceptionally clean room and bathroom, bedding and towels. Ideally located in town centre.
No parking with hotel but lical overnight parking was available. No eating facilities but takeaway cold breakfast could be purchased.

Stay at the hotel was comfortable, clean environment. Staff was polite and helpful.
The premises lacked parking facilities and using NCP car parking was expensive.
