The location was perfect! Everything was within 30 minutes walking aside from the akropolis which took 45 minutes.
The bed was comfortable and so was the sleeping sofa! The apartment looked exactly like the photos and the kitchen was fully equipped.
Everything was clean and the owner was quick to respond to any of my questions. We could also stay 20 minutes longer to wait for our taxi.
There were in fact 81 steps and no elevator (we counted) as many comments say, I don't know what people expect in an old greek building, if you're in normal health this shouldn't be an issue. If you're unable to climb steps this is not the building for you.
The keys were supposed to be in a lockbox, but the box was empty, luckily this was fixed within 5 minutes and someone came to give us the keys!
To no fault of the owner the building smelt like weed and the neighbourhood and building (not the apartment) felt a bit sketchy, I was with my cousin, but as a woman alone I wouldn't have felt safe to go out alone at night.

Excellent location very close to busy city center, literally 5-7 min walk, and you have so much choice of cafes, shops, restaurants etc but what really blew me away was so nice to come back to flat, which has really nice local vibe, some trendy cafes and bars with courtyards where you can chill. I actually sat there on my last night saying wooow, I could do this every evening if i lived here. Its very chilled and relaxed and quiet, you wouldnt think city center literally around the corner. Its like you disapper into another world. And the locals care about the community, you can see that and feel that energy. And if you love cats 🐈 plenty of them and they got manners...lol they dont beg they go about their business like the locals and if you stop to say hi, they will say meow and keep it moving.
The flat was amazing, I appreciated the japandani theme, clean, minimalist, and modern. Some good amenities available, washing machine, tall fridge freezer, modern bathroom, flat screen TV, adequate lighting and side lights, I appreciated extra touches like 2 ac units, mirrors full length, modern dimisting mirror in bathroom, they even have a projector and full access to Netflix which I thought was so thoughtful. Good storage, plenty of sockets, side tables, extra futon in living room, Kitchen is all modern and great facilities i didn't really use because there was so much local cuisine to try. Its a lovely flat soooo spacious, for me as solo travelling for business was perfect 👌🏽was so close to my course. I would use this space again if I was travelling for business or with a friend. Families travelling i would say its great value but I think its more suitable for solo travellers or couples. If I had to be honest.
I liked being on 4th floor knowing that there was very close contact to the housing managers, there is a lovely lady who does the cleaning just across way and said if I need anything just ask, also great communication from Pedros. He was amazing.
The only thing I didn't like was not having access to little balcony BUT...I will give them grace on this because as a female solo traveller it did make me think of safety and security. And there is literally lovely little cafe spots you can sit not far from flat but it would be nice to have the choice.
It didn't bother me being on 4th floor, lol good excersise :) but yes there are good few flights to go up but good spacious landings for you to catch your breathe 😆. This why I would say better for solo travelling or couples. But the flat is worth the reward of walking them steps. I genuinely didn't want to leave the flat because it was so comfy. Lol not because of the stairs.
Now this maybe a personal preference but the mattress was way to soft for me, but there were extra duvets and blankets which I just used to make it more comfortable to how I like.
The shower glass maybe needs to be little longer or add door. I felt so bad like I was getting floor extra wet, and I just wouldn't want your property to get damaged over time with visitors. Not everybody cares cause its not their place, and you can see alot of care went into designing the bathroom.
