3-Bed Historic Knitters House in Nottingham

Great location, close to shops and amenities. Walking distance to the Motorpoint arena. Quirky property, good size for the four of us. Shared court yard area. The customer service team were very quick to resolve an issue with the wrong keys being left in the key box.

Not a level ground floor and two bedrooms are on the second floor, wasn’t a problem for us but theres a lot of steps/stairs. The property would benefit for a second bathroom given it has 3 bedrooms or at least a second toilet.

Lovely appointed house. Had everything you need for a short stay. Great spot for the city centre.

The apartment has been beautifully renovated - it is an historic listed building and the renovations honour this but with contemporary appliances and fittings. Decor is modern and very tasteful. The bedrooms were a very good size and beds were comfortable. The single bathroom is luxurious and very glamorous, as is the sitting area!

We found the overall feel of the apartment to be very dark and claustrophobic. The property is over three floors and the staircase is quite steep and narrow. All rooms have heavy fire doors fitted, which added to the feeling of being closed in and made getting suitcases upstairs quite difficult, although people travelling lighter may not have a problem with that. Our major issue was with parking. The information we had was that there was a public carpark in a street nearby or multiple larger carparks a bit further away. The nearby carpark was completely full and we drove around for 45 minutes trying to find another option that would fit our 4WD, as the shopping centre carparks were height limited and we could not enter. Many streets are one way, which is not surprising in a city centre but which complicated our search. With only one night booked we wasted most of the evening and in the end had to park illegally on the street outside the property. I'd had high hopes for a wonderful stay here but it ended up being quite stressful and not relaxing or enjoyable.
