La Venelle Saint-Nicolas

A lovely and comfortable apartment, with all you need in a small block right in the heart of Rouen. Everything worked well and it was quiet at night despite being in the centre. The parking was in a good car park and seemed very secure.

The parking was a few minutes walk from the apartment, and because of the narrow city streets it was recommended that we park in the public section on arrival, walk to the apartment to receive the parking pass and then return to the car park, exit it and then re-enter it with the pass before walking back to the apartment. I think it’s probably the best arrangement, but it does take more time than you might expect. When checking out, you have to repeat the process in reverse, so allow yourself time for that too.

Loistava sijainti! Huoneisto oli tilava, tyylikäs ja erittäin hiljainen ja rauhallinen. Pysäköinti läheisessä parkkihallissa kuului hintaan ja oli positiivinen yllätys.

Hieman oli pölyjä nurkissa ja huolimatonta siivousta, mutta yleisilme oli kuitenkin siisti.

De locatie van het appartement was prima, met uitzicht op de kathedraal (bijna aan te raken) en de St. Ouen, waar we dat weekend twee keer moeste zijn voor concerten.

Niets. Een strijkijzer en strijkbout waren aardig geweest om te hebben.
