This is a very nicely decorated, clean and comfortable property. It is set within it's own garden with outside lights. The property is in a fabulous location for quick access to walks in to the forest. There is a back gate that opens directly on to a public footpath that leads you to a zebra crossing over Sway Road . Once over the crossing you are a few steps away from a path leading you directly to another public footpath. Follow this path and it will take you directly on a gravel route that you can follow all the way across Burley Road and then on to another public footpath that leads you to a path then up to the forest. In addition, it is a short 5 min walk to the fabulous high street shops and cafes. Alternatively a short 5 minute walk up to the train station and cafes, pubs and restaurants.
The owners left a pint of milk in the fridge, plenty of coffee and tea including fresh ground coffee for the cafetiere which was a nice touch (if you like coffee). Also, salt and pepper, cooking oil and plenty of cleaning products and hand wash etc. Nice towels and bath robes.
Access to the property was very easy and the property team were very helpful
There is nothing that I didn't like. Although I would like to point out that there are no radiators in the property it is all underfloor heated . The main areas are wooden floors and the temp is set to a 19c with no ability to change that yourself. In addition the bathroom is tiled and doesn't appear to have any heating, so difficult to dry anything if the weather is cold and wet. Pack your slippers!

Friends recommended a stay in Brockenhurst and we found The Nest via Booking.com. The entire booking process and being advised of access to the property was seamless. LOTS of information provided AND places to see, where to eat, walks, bike rides etc.
There is car parking onsite. We left the car there for our 3 day stay. Walked everywhere as it is very close to town and the walking tracks.
The facilities in the Nest are simply sensational. Very well appointed. Lots of room. The bedroom is an absolute delight. Full sized kitchen. Welcoming bottle of wine and chocolates on arrival.
There is a bike rack under cover. And tables/chairs to allow you to sit in the sun!!!
We met the owner, very friendly.
In short, we highly recommend The Nest. And yes we would definitely stay here again and for longer.
If we were staying longer would have liked a washing machine.

Location, facilities were great, good pubs and great walks close by. Plenty of space in the property to relax, and very modern. Loved the welcome package.
