About this cottage rental
Woodfearn is a comfortable, spacious home in a wonderful location.
Ground floor:
- Spacious living room with lots of comfortable seating and sunny conservatory.
- Kitchen/diner, fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven.
- Utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.
- Double bedroom.
- Shower room.
First floor:
- Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom.
- Two single bedrooms.
- Separate WC
- Two pull out guest beds (on request).
Outside:
- Large patio with table, chairs and parasol for outdoor dining.
- Steps down to a fully enclosed garden with lawn and shrubs.
- Parking for up to three cars.
- Garage access for secure bike storage (on request ).
- Travel cot and high chair (on request).
- Plastic dog beds (two available).
Included:
- Bed linen.
- Towels.
- Tea towels, dish cloths, washing up liquid, dishwasher tabs in kitchen.
- Liquid soap and toilet roll in bathroom.
The house is just a few minutes walk from open forest and heath, with miles of walking and cycling tracks and new forest ponies on the doorstep.
Sway village has two lovely pubs, two convenience stores, a cafe, a butcher's, and a chemist. The local train station connects to Brockenhurst with fast trains to London, Bournemouth and Southampton. It's a short drive to popular New Forest villages of Brockenhurst, Burley, Lyndhurst and pretty coastal town of Lymington. There are several lovely beaches nearby that are either dog friendly (Hampshire) or allow dogs in designated areas (Dorset).

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of space for us all.
The large garden was perfect for our 2 dogs and very secure.
Beautiful area with lovely walks just outside the village.
Would recommend, as a lovely peaceful stay.

Lovely comfortable property with plenty of space for young children, parents and Granny. Kitchen diner/ utility formed the heart of the home with good cooking facilities. Good bathrooms and bedrooms.

This home was the perfect base for me and my family for our week-long stay. The kitchen was well equipped for all our meals (especially important during Covid as we did not go out to any restaurants) and all of us slept very well during our stay. We enjoyed use of the living room for movie and game nights and during the day, Sway station is a moment away for us to catch to nearby stations for exploring New Forest either by foot or with our bikes.Helen was very helpful both in the lead up to and during our stay, accommodating any/all requests. We definitely see ourselves returning again when the next opportunity presents itself! What a lovely home, the place has been well looked after and we felt very comfortable there.
