Julie the owner gave a very warm welcome and could not have been more helpful, even letting me leave the car at the property the next day so I could attend the hospital for a course. It’s perfectly situated for the John Radcliffe hospital, only a few minutes stroll away, with local shops and restaurants on the same road, and pubs. My room was exceptionally clean and bed was very comfy. Good amount of tea, coffee, milk etc left in room. I had a room looking out onto garden which had a lovely view. Perfect for what I needed
If you like a powerful shower then you might be disappointed as mine was completely adequate but didn’t have lots of power. As there are fire doors to each room and around the property it can be noisy when people move around as doors slam. But everyone came in early when I stayed so this didn’t disturb me at all. I didn’t have the breakfast but it is a continental breakfast only, which might bother people who want a cooked breakfast.

Good location, parking available. There are many pubs, restaurants and grocery stores in the area.
It wasn’t properly cleaned. There was a used wooden fork in one of the corners of the room upon arrival, the baseboards and the radiator had some dirty spots and the room was dusty. The reception area smelled like cigarettes, so someone has probably smoked inside.
