Nice, clean, warm and cosy cottage with my family for a long weekend visiting the peak district. It has everything you need so you don't need to bring much from home. I loved the old school electric meter to top up the electricity with a £1 coin (coin is provided) every now and then. The hosts are absolutely friendly and great to chat to as well. The kids loved the bunk bed. All rooms kitchen and bathroom are clean and well presented. And the beds are comfy as well. On the first night it was cold inside but once the heaters kicked in the cottage stays warm all day long. The cottage must've been out of use before we checked in nothing else and the electric radiators meter needed topping up.
There is no shower or curtain or bucket in the bath but this did not bother us much. We brought a plastic jug from home with us for having a quick wash so that's a tip for others to consider.
