Chatham house

Clean and comfortable stay. Very warm, cosy house. Heated up very quickly. Very well equipped. Tv in the sitting room. (Could be bigger/modernised) Seperate dining table.

Bathroom window wouldn’t close/lock fully. Stairs are very steep so our oldest guest stayed on the ground floor - no issue for us but maybe note for future guests. Metal Beds can be quite noisey when turning over.

The property was OK for what we paid for it. Bedding was fresh and clean and the beds were comfy. Kitchen had everything we needed and bathroom was OK.

The stairs up to the bedrooms are very steep and with the bathroom being at the back of the house, the late night toilet trip was an adventure. It would not be suitable for someone who isnt steady on their feet. There were light bulbs not working which was awkward at times, considering one of them was in a bedroom. There was an issue with the parking permit as it was not in the property. Thankfully we didnt need it as we weren't in the property during the day so the car was not parked on the street during the day. The owner was informed and at first was replying quickly but they went quiet and we didn't hear from them to resolve it.
