About this apartment rental
SCALE is an apartment that offers uncommon comfort. With only one double bedroom, it is dedicated to couples who always like to feel like they are on their honeymoon. Large spaces for just 2 people, perhaps with a child. The large living room with kitchen occupies almost the entire ground floor with a large extra sofa bed available. The two bathrooms with shower allow comfortable and functional use of the apartment and guarantee privacy. Private patio of 17.50 m2.
Free WIFI inside and outside. The connection is not suitable for streaming or heavy downloads, good for email and normal web browsing.
Independent air conditioning and seasonal LPG heating are on consumption and are not included in the rent.

First floor: Double bedroom (bed 200x170 cm). 1st bathroom with shower.
Ground floor: living room with kitchen with travertine marble shelves and equipped with everything you need (oven, fridge, dishwasher). Extra sofa bed.
2nd bathroom with shower. Laundry room and storage room.
The floors are handmade "cotto", traditional ceilings with oak beams.
Reserved covered patio of 17.50 m2. paved in terracotta with furniture for outdoor dining.
The swimming pool measures 16 x 6.2 m. 160 cm deep. at 220 cm. it is reserved only for guests of Casale Refoli. Open from 21 May to 7 October.
The solarium station with sunbeds and deckchairs will be assigned at the beginning of the holiday to a single family or family group and will always be used the same one for the booked period.
Private parking inside the property with night lighting.
The Casale Refoli property offers only 5 completely independent apartments with kitchens for 2 to 5 people. Each apartment has a covered terrace reserved for outdoor breakfasts. The property is in open countryside near the Berignone Nature Reserve, in the center of a marked hiking trail. Ideal for a holiday in a typical Tuscan countryside.
Casale Refoli is a total of 5 km from the town of Casole d'Elsa in the province of Siena - halfway between Florence and Siena - in practice it takes about 10 minutes to reach the town with restaurants, shops and all the main services.
The property is accessible via a dirt road of approximately 2 km. This country road is not recommended for sports cars or cars that are too low. On our web page you can see some of our guests' cars as an example.
Casale Refoli is an ancient Tuscan farm traceable in the papers (dated 1824) of the "Leopoldino Land Registry", with the name of Podere Cetinaglia.
Casale Refoli is located in the municipality of Casole d´Elsa in the province of Siena. Casole d´Elsa, of ancient Etruscan origin, is an important historical center of the Val d'Elsa awarded the "Orange Flag", the environmental tourism quality mark that the Italian Touring Club attributes to inland locations for the development of tourism quality.
The Casale Refoli property has been completely restored, maintaining the shape, volumes and part of the original structures unaltered (see photo of the ruins of Cetinaglia) and transformed into a welcoming and comfortable country residence. Since 2007 it has begun to offer hospitality and welcome to lovers of Tuscany, its countryside and its art treasures.

Des vacances inoubliables dans cette magnifique bâtisse rénovée avec goût. Le calme, le repos, la dolce vita ont toujours été au rendez-vous tout au long de notre séjour. Un grand merci à Giovanni et Pia pour leur accueil chaleureux tout en respect de notre intimité. Là bas, vous trouverez tout ce qu'il vous faut dans le vaste appartement, mais surtout une énorme sensation de bien-être et de repos loin des bruits de la ville. Une adresse à retenir assurément ! Casale Refoli liegt absolut ruhig, mit sehr schönem Blick auf Casole d'Elsa. Die Betreuung vor Ort durch den Besitzer ist optimal, immer hilfreich, nie aufdringlich. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt.
Die Ausstattung sehr gut ( mit Wasserkocher und Microwelle wäre sie perfekt ), sehr geräumige Wohnung mit großem Bett mit guter Matratze. Sehr guter Ausgangspunkt um die Sehenswürdigkeiten der mittleren Toskana schnell zu erreichen. Die 2,5 km lange Schotterstraße ist mit normalem PKW gefahrlos zu befahren aber etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Da es morgens ca. 35min für Hin- und Rückweg zum Bäcker dauert, haben wir unsere Frühstücksbrötchen immer schon am Vortag gekauft und morgens auf dem Toaster wieder aufgefrischt. Die Jagdhunde in der weiteren Nachbarschaft sind bei offenem Fenster nachts leider gut zu hören.
Der Pool ist ausgezeichnet. Komplettes deutsches TV-Angebot und problemloser Internetzugang. Die 5 Wohnungen sind so im Haus verteilt, dass man immer seine Privatsphäre hat.
Das schnell zu erreichende San Gimignano ist wirlich ein Besuch wert ( bei uns waren es 3 Besuche ) nicht zuletzt wegen dem excellenten Eis aus der Eisdiele des Weltmeisters der Eismacher
