The apartment looks nice, with fresh walls and large rooms. It’s kitchen is large and looks like it is well stocked with utensils and pots & pans. It has a good sized fridge, and has 2 Aircons. The ceilings are high and it has lovely windows. One double bed is comfortable, the other one you can feel the springs in it. The people who looked after the apartment seemed kind. The location is its best part, very central.
Overall it seemed kind of grimy. I am not sure how it got such a high rating with other customers?!? Everything was sort of sticky and needed a wipe, such as the toaster and the kettle which is off-putting. This was in the kitchen, as well as other rooms. We cleaned one side table in a bedroom and the paper towel came out black. The bathroom is disastrous in terms of cleanliness - it smells very bad like old urine, and the shower has lots of mould growing in the edges. It needs a good bleach. We cleaned some of the white grease off the inside of the shower glass, which looked caked on. There’s a huge hole in one wall, and cracked tiles.
Also very off putting were the cotton bed blankets, we dropped our bags off early, saw the unmade beds with the dishevelled blankets, came back a few hours later and the same thin cotton blankets were on the same beds. The man entrance needs a general clean. It’s a shame as the apartment looks like a very nice apartment in size and location.
