Location is excellent. Right in the middle of everything. Nice neighbourhood.
Was a bit scary when we got the code and got in the room, someone is already there. Good thing he was not in the apartment when we open the door. Could be uncomfortable. There was a mixed up in the booking, but the host tried their best to accommodate and provided us another room but we had to move again - that was not nice.

Very well equipped recently modernised apartment in an attractive historic building. Spotlessly clean and lots of space.
The apartment was located directly above a bar. On a Sunday night in October the patrons stood in the street noisily talking until nearly 2 am. Music from the bar was very audible despite having the windows completely shut. We could not sleep until the bar closed up. I strongly recommend ear plugs if you stay here.
FWIW the bar was meant to be shut on Sunday, when we were there. Consequently I guess this was a private function so I don’t know how normal this is.

Dirty oven.
Nicely decorated but no little “homely” touches. Quite dark, only windows looked out onto 2 courtyards, choice of scaffolding, porta loo and bikes or bikes and wheelie bins.
I asked the host for help as apartment was cold, was told to increase temperature on air conditioning, I again asked for help an hour later as I was unsure if I was working the ac properly as we were not any warmer, and there were no instructions for the a/c or anything else for that matter in the apartment, although I could see the message had been read I did not get a response and had to contact again an hour later, I was told that it was illegal to put heating on until mid October and she didn’t see how else she could help me.
