About this apartment rental
This fabulous apartment is located in the famous Oltrarno district, in the very heart of the city of Florence. Only a 2-3 minute walk to the world renowned Ponte Vecchio and just a stone’s throw from all of the city’s main cultural attractions, it features two bedrooms and two bathrooms and can host up to 4 guests. A spacious home flooded with natural light and with all modern comforts, making it your ultimate place to stay while in town!
Description and features.
The apartment, adorned with contemporary art pieces , has recently been completely renovated by the owner and features about 140 square meters (1510 sf) of living space. It is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building in the well known “Costa Scarpuccia" and comes with an elevator.
Bedroom 1 with two twin beds and large french window onto the garden, ensuite bathroom with shower (the bed in this room can be converted into a King upon request)
Bedroom 2 with King size bed and bathroom with shower and tub.
- Large open space living room and dining room with a large sliding door onto the garden;
- Kitchen, fully furnished with all of the following: gas stove, oven, toaster, kettle, Nespresso and drip-coffee machines sink, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, pots/pans and all of the necessary tools for food preparation and cooking;
- Laundry cabinet with washer/dryer;
- Fully air conditioned;
- TV;
- WiFi
- Parking facility/garage within 350 meters (fees payable by the hour or daily)

The apartment is located on the left side of the river Arno, between Ponte Vecchio and the Museo Bardini (the museum with a spectacular garden which overlooks Florence).
At 150 meters from the apartment there are all the typical stores of the neighborhood such as the bakery, the greengrocer, the pharmacy, the stationer and the bars, restaurants, pizzerias.
It’s a treat to have coffe or drinks at the many cafés and bars facing the Uffizi Museum and Ponte Vecchio , or in the more quiet pedestrian way that , from via San Niccolo, leads to Piazzale Michelangelo from one of the ancient doors of medieval Florence.
This is the area also known for craft stores that have given Florence its reputation as a centre for excellent manufacture.
**“City Tax” of € 5.50 per person per night applicable for a maximum of 7 nights during is to be paid upon arrival as per the city's regulatory rules (kids under 12 are exempt).**

The location was quiet yet easily accessible to the major attractions. Conad grocery store 4-to-5-minute walk. The apartment is very well appointed, and the staff were readily accessible and tailored their suggestions for our needs. The information booklet provided was very helpful, and all three suggested restaurants that we visited were wonderful. Plenty of space for our party of 3 adults. Wonderful outside space. Everything worked. If we were to return to Florence, we would stay here again. Worth every penny.

Beautiful property in a great location. Plenty of room for 4 adults to live, sleep, cook and relax. The outdoor patio is lovely. There were bugs which the owner told us about so we couldn’t leave doors or windows open without bug spray which was provided but we were fine going out and coming in. One bed has a mattress that is pretty warped (we kept rolling into each other) and not very comfortable but that didn’t take away from our day to day enjoyment of the apartment. Ginerva very kind and welcoming.

We needed to find an apartment that was close to everything, yet still on a quite street. This was perfect! We didn’t eat much at home except a quick breakfast- with all the amazing restaurants and cafes in Florence- we had no trouble eating some delicious meals. Beat part of all was that we could walk everywhere. The property manager was very nice and offered some local tips. Would we return? Absolutely!

Emma and Ginevra were very nice. The apartment is in a very nice quiet neighborhood. It is across the Ponte Vecchio from most of the attractions that you will go to Florence. That was fine with us. We love to walk.
When we checked in the place had not been cleaned. I sent an email to Ginevra and she took care of it right away.
There are a few things in the apartment that need to be repaired. Water runs out of the shower and down the stair. A simple rolled up towel under the shower does not fix the problem. The heated towel racks in the bathrooms did not work. It would’ve been nice if they had because the apartment is very damp.
If you plan on using the kitchen, make sure you purchase a couple of dish towels only one will be provided. A dish washing cloth or sponge, none provided. Also, the apartment is vacant of salt pepper, any type of cooking oil or spices.
There is a washer dryer combo. Emma instructed us. We followed her instructions. We put our laundry in at 8 AM. We went out for the day. At 4:30 PM when we came back, the laundry was not dry. Ginevra the owner lives upstairs. She didn’t know how to use the appliance.
We had a great time in Florence. However, we would not recommend this apartment to friends or family and would not stay here again.
