About this house rental
Detached house with pool on the beautiful hills of Versilia in the village of Piano di Mommio, surrounded by a well-kept garden terrace and olive trees. Garden equipped with outdoor games (table tennis, table soccer) and outdoor kitchen with hot plate, sink, refrigerator and equipment for outdoor meals. Pool with outdoor cabin, large veranda and covered terrace with fitness equipment. You can park your car on the fully fenced property. The house is particularly suitable for those who want to spend a vacation away from city traffic, but at the same time be close (5 minutes by car) to all amenities. You can reach only in 7 km Lido di Camaiore, where there are equipped bathing establishments, pizzerias, restaurants and a long walk where you can stroll and enjoy a magnificent view over the coast. You can walk here a picturesque pier that extends 285 meters into the sea. Camaiore, (6 km) where you can find stores and restaurants of all kinds that offer menus with typical products of the culinary tradition. Pietrasanta, (7 km) a town famous for the working of marble and bronze and for the old town full of art galleries and stores. Do not miss a visit to the Cathedral of San Martino overlooking Piazza Duomo, where you will find many bars and restaurants . Viareggio (9 km), a locality full of bathing establishments and shipyards and a beautiful promenade along the sea with clothing stores and restaurants. Here you can take the ferry from the pier to the Cinque Terre, the villages in Liguria that are part of the UNESCO heritage. The villa is accessible from the parking lot by 20 steps.

The house is spacious and has great views. The garden is beautiful, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. However, the relatively high price is not justified given the state of the kitchen, furniture and broken swimming pool beds/sunshade umbrella.
During check in the host told us you need to weat flipflops or shoes in the kitchen when you cook, otherwise you can get electric shocks. That gave us a very uncomfortable feeling letting the kids in the kitchen. It also gave me a very unpleasant feeling everytime I prepared something in the kitchen.
