About this house rental
Amazing home with over 4700 Sq Ft of space for your group! This place is suitable for weddings, business receptions or just a nice get away! Situated on 10 acres, this fantastic home is full furnished for your vacation use! Dramatic rooms with painted domes in the downstairs makes your feel like you are in another world! 5 bedrooms and 3.5 baths for your use. There is a huge master bedroom on the first floor. Lovely courtyards with fine plantings and walkways complete the Redwood Glen Castle.
There may be someone staying at the Apartment at the Castle. Please greet them! The other people may be in the apartment above the 3 garages. It will not where you will stay.

Game table top in the family room for poker with chips. One bedroom has bunks in it with a bathroom shared with the king room upstairs. You have to go through another room to get to the bunk room.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Castle. Everything was really well marked getting to the house and also in the house. The house is huge, which the kids loved. They also enjoyed petting and feeding the resident mouser outside the house (Felix the Cat). The house is a short 5 min drive into town and also a great place to stay if you’re heading north to the Redwoods or west to Fort Bragg. We would definitely stay here again if we are ever in Willits again.

Our family stay at the “Castle” was absolutely perfect!!! Our 7 grandchildren from 12 to 23 enjoyed the game room and ping pong in the garage. We 7 adults enjoyed gathering to visit in the courtyard and the living room. The kitchen and dining room has cupboards full of everything needed to create large family meals. We sincerely appreciated our host’s Frank & Diane!!!

The house is nice. Calling it a castle may be a bit of a stretch of the imagination. It is a fairly large house though. It was clean, had everything we needed minus a foosball (there was a ping pong ball on the foosball table instead of an actual foosball) kind of a bummer since we were looking forward to playing but not a huge deal. We played ping pong located in the garage instead. We did have to cut that early though because there was another tenant who rented a room above the garage and we didn't want to be too loud disturbing them in the evening. There was nothing in the description stating there would be another guest staying above the garage. Again, not a huge deal. My main issue was the fact that in order to reach the bedroom with the bunk beds you would first have to cross through into another bedroom first, no other way in or out. Im assuming the bunk bed room was a large walk in closet at one point converted into a bed room. Less of a problem if you are staying here with family but i was here with friends and a few couples who understandably preferred their privacy and this created a bit of an issue. Wish the listing would have mentioned this. Overall the house was clean, The location is nice and private. Diane was responsive and even allowed one guest to bring a dog last minute for a very reasonable rate.
