About this house rental
Beach-lovers paradise 1 block to the beach. Charming 1940s cottage with a fenced yard in back. Relax on the large front deck, taking in ocean breezes. Inside, our cottage features 2 bedrooms 1 bath with discerning taste. Walk to the beach, plus dozens of shops and restaurants. Enjoy a brewery, coffeehouse, seafood, Mexican, Chinese. Stroll the bluffs taking in the central coast. Surfing, kayaking, Pismo pier, hiking within 2 miles: you won't want to leave.
Our home is a sunny and bright 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage built in 1949. It features a cute bay window with dining nook for 4. Lots of windows let the breeze in. We have two 50" smart TVs - one in the family room and one in the 2nd bedroom with Netflix. Second bedroom features a vintage rattan trundle bed and futon. Master bedroom has a queen bed with new memory foam mattress, desk and fast WI-FI for work. Kitchen is ready for you, stocked with locally roasted coffee. Out back we have a grill, two lounge chairs, hammock and grass. Out front is a large 12x20 deck with outdoor furniture. Sleeps 4-5.
For larger families, we have a modern and beautiful 2-story, 2 bedroom, 1 bath ADU at the back of the property. It sleeps 4 people, featuring 1 queen bed in master bedroom downstairs and 2 twin beds upstairs. Upstairs kitchen and living room have peekaboo ocean views. Great for grandparents or larger families. This cottage gives you the feeling of living outdoors with all the windows; open , light and airy. Great outdoor spaces and the inside is organized with everything you need. The neighborhood is friendly with beautiful mature trees and walking distance to all your needs.

My husband and I spent the month of February at Kelly's house. The house is exactly as presented in the listing and photos. Kelly was very easy to communicate with and provided prompt responses. The house is very comfortable for two adults, and I would highly recommend it. The house is located on one of the nicest blocks in Shell Beach, with quick access to the beach, shops and restaurants. The house was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was fast and made it easy to work remotely. The work area is in the main bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped.

Cute cottage but it would have been desirable to have a dishwasher. The washer and dryer in another building was a bit inconvenient. It definitely needs another mirror outside the bathroom. An easy fix would be a full length mirror on one of the doors in the hallway.
