Pool + deck area needs an upgrade as well as the restaurant and bar - they seem outdated and old while the hotel is updated and great.

This hotel and resort is the perfect midway point between LA and San Francisco. The property is gorgeous, meticulous and the restaurant is fantastic.
I should have stayed for 2 or 3 nights. I was sad to leave and hope to come back.

View and location were gorgeous. Staff were very nice and professional. Room was gorgeous. Leather recliner was really nice. Complimentary water. Hotel was quiet. I could've easily spent a week at this hotel and I wish I had been able to spend more than 12 hours there. The pool is heated to 88°F, which is a perfect temperature.
The thermostat was set to cool to 64°F and my room was freezing. I arrived after midnight and had to open the balcony doors because it was warmer outside. The ice machines are only on the 1st and 2nd floors. There is nothing on floors 3 - 5. They make you park your vehicle down the street from the hotel so you are forced to use either their bellhops or their vallet parking, which requires a tip. No microwave in room.
