Loved the view and being in the mountains, though there were neighbors it still felt secluded. The chalet was beautiful and spacious for our large group. We were there during a rare heat wave and the owners did their best to keep us comfortable. Plenty of hiking for those of us who enjoy the outdoors. Pend Oreille was beautiful and enjoyed taking the kids to the beach. Saw many wild animals from a moose, to multiple mule deer, and even a black bear from the porch! Downtown Sandpoint is nice with many shops and dining.
Not much for very young or elderly people who aren't very outdoorsy to do. Wish there was an adventure park or pool nearby. Most things the older people wanted to do was too far of a drive or was closed due to staffing.
