Welcome to your North Idaho getaway! This 6,000 sq ft home on 21 acres overlooks beautiful Lake Cocolalla and is designed for families and friends to gather, relax, and create lasting memories. With 6 bedrooms, 5 full bathrooms, expansive decks, and space to sleep up to 20 guests, this retreat blends comfort, luxury, and stunning natural beauty.
The Space:
-Step inside and be greeted by a wall of windows framing breathtaking views of Lake Cocolalla. From sunrise to sunset, the scenery is your backdrop — whether you’re gathered around the massive fireplace in the great room, enjoying dinner at the large dining table, or relaxing outside on the expansive decks that stretch across both levels of the home.
-For food lovers, the kitchen is a true centerpiece. Outfitted with double ovens, an induction cooktop, and a Wolf gas burner ideal for wok cooking, it’s designed to handle everything from casual breakfasts to full family feasts. A second kitchenette downstairs adds convenience, making it easy to entertain or give multiple groups their own space.
The layout provides space and privacy for everyone:
-Main Level – Three bedrooms including a master suite, plus a media room for movie nights.
-Lower Level – A second master suite, two additional bedrooms, and a large family room with a huge sectional, big-screen TV, kitchenette, ping pong table, foosball table and round game table.

-A train runs between the property and Lake Cocolalla. The train does not honk, but it may be heard at night. Earplugs and noisemakers are provided for light sleepers, and many guests (especially kids) enjoy watching the train from above.
-This property is designed for families and group vacations — parties, weddings, and large events are not allowed.

Lakeview retreat was the perfect house for our familySo many bedrooms and bathrooms; the beautiful kitchen area upstairs was perfect for spending time together, playing games, making special memories together. All this and the spectacular view of the lake and mountains.We hope to return again someday. I certainly would recommend this property to everyone!

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL home. The set up was so good, considering our ages ranged from 4 to 80.Very easy to get around to go to beach, shopping, ect.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful home! It's in a great location with amazing views. The owner was super responsive. Our family group ranged from 1-79 years in age and everyone loved this home. Thanks for a great visit!

This was a senior trip. I brought 16 students and one other chaperone to enjoy 2 days at Silverwood. We loved our time in this lovely home. It was not well equipped for a large group though. Most disappointing was the many roofing nails lying around on the deck. One of my students stepped on a nail (they REALLY blend in with the grey wood) and we had to miss a large part of one day communicating with a parent and doctor's office on a weekend trying to figure out if she was up to date on her shots and would need to be seen by a doctor. A HUGE bummer for her senior trip. The hosts apologized but didn't offer to comp any portion of our stay or make any amends for the lost time and injury. They offered to pay for medical treatment, but thankfully that wasn't needed as she was up to date on shots. Very disappointing response from the host though. Secondly, the kitchen is fantastic, but not well equipped for a large group. If you bring a large group, know ahead of time that there are not enough cups for everyone to have drink at the same time, no crock pot or blender, and no salt or pepper, no broom and minimal other kitchen basics. The house is equipped nicely to feed a small group, but not a large one. As far as the trains, they did not bother us. They do not interfere with the view and they aren't super loud. There are a LOT of trains though. There were about 3-4 per hour. It's a train super highway with one track in each direction. Still, we were not bothered by them. The view is fantastic, so lovely and serene. The location is easy to get to and only about 15 min from Silverwood park. The house accommodated our group really well with plenty of space. It is a very pretty and comfortable home. I just wish the hosts had been more thoughtful in preparing the home for guests.
