A bright apartment on the second floor, fully furnished in classic Venetian style.
The apartment consists of a living area with a large windowed living room, presenting a small balcony overlooking the Venetian street below. The spacious dining room with antique furniture holds a table for 6-8 people. The two spaces of the living area are separated by a glass-paneled wall, which brings a lot of light to both.
Another table can be found in the kitchen, which is fully equipped with all necessary appliances to make the guests’ stay as comfortable as possible.
There are two double bedrooms and one bedroom with two single beds, all with large windows. Both bathrooms present shower cabins.
The Arsenal Large Apartment is located near Riva degli Schiavoni in the district of Castello, the district with most local residents in the city. The area presents many shops and restaurants where guests can fully experience the atmosphere of authentic Venice.
The apartment is only a ten-minute walk from Piazza San Marco and the Bridge of Sighs, as well as from the Giardini della Biennale.
Nearby is the waterbus stop with Line 1 and Line 2 connecting to all main attractions in the city. From the waterbus stop near San Zaccaria, guests can reach the Lido beaches in only two stops.

The property is very comfortable and is a fantastic location to the water taxis, shopping, sightseeing, and restaurants. We loved our visit! Martina met us at the water taxi and guided us to the apartment. Very nice property, and a real Venice experience!

We were a family of six adults. We had plenty of space. Our host set up our transportation to/from the airport and met us at our water taxi when we arrived. The location was great and we met several of the local people working close by. They made us feel welcomed and readily answered our questions.

The apartment was perfect. We were three single people and there was plenty of room. I like to cook, and I bake desserts for Venetian friends. I brought a few kitchen items with me, but the kitchen came equipped with all the basic needs. The beds were quite comfortable. While there was a little street noise, it did not bother us at all. I love the Castello neighborhood and visit every year. This was the nicest apartment I have found and I hope I can return again soon.

Vacation village was a good backup for us when we couldn’t find lodging in Williamstown. Just about 15 minutes to get to places we were going - Target, Williams college, restaurant. The only drawback was the hot plate which is very challenging to use if you’re used to a stove. If you don’t plan to cook much, it’s fine. Easy to heat up water for tea for example. The towels and bedding were fresh, super clean, and beautiful - couldn’t have been any whiter! The laundry area was super clean and conveniently located. The machines were free and did the job efficiently. We would recommend Vacation Village.
