About this house rental
This friendly holiday home with a picturesque panoramic view is located about 5 km from Poppi, in a picturesque hilly position. The former farmhouse has been lovingly restored and furnished in the Tuscan country house style, so that you can enjoy the rustic atmosphere of times gone by as well as modern comforts. Both floors can be accessed at ground level; on the upper floor is the central living area with kitchen and dining room, living room with open fireplace and exit to the terrace; barbecue and another furnished terrace on the private property, as well as the pool area with panoramic views - here you can relax, swim, sunbathe, browse and enjoy a glass of red wine at the end of the day. And if you need a little exercise: Various games such as table tennis, table football, boccia etc. are available for you to play together with the guests of the neighbouring holiday home ITA045. Garage on request. A paradise not only for relaxing but also for trekking and excursions to the small towns and castles of the Casentino Nature Park - or visit the Poppi Zoo! One of the most imposing castles can be found in medieval Poppi, a charming little town where you can enjoy a cappuccino in the morning, an aperitif in the evening or vice versa. Good trattorias offer local dishes, e.g. with porcini mushrooms or truffles. Discover Arezzo (45 km) with its beautiful historic centre - e.g. stroll through the Corso, visit the cathedral, the Romanesque Pieve, the church of San Francesco with the famous fresco cycle by Piero della Francesca - and of course enjoy an aperitif in Piazza Grande! In June and September, the traditional Saraceno equestrian games take place in Piazza Grande; on the first weekend of every month, the entire old town centre comes alive with the colourful National Antiques Market.
