The staff are really friendly and willing to help with any questions. The pool area is nice and overlooks the jungle. You can order drinks to the pool and they have some happy hour promotions. The main restaurants breakfast, coffee and Indonesian food was really good. The Sky Bar is quite basic in terms of seating and you get asked to rate them 5 stars after your first visit. The cocktails are solid for a hotel bar standard. There is a butler service but that was a bit hit & miss (more below). The grounds were really nice
The butler service mixed up the room check-outs and also the photographer timing. This meant being rushed out of one more to another. The first room (Unagi Suite) the air conditioning didn't work and outdoor area with bath needed quite a bit of maintenance work. Staff resolved this quickly to their credit. The gym is not based in the hotel but in a sister hotel across the road (solid gym).

Exquisite hotel located within the forest. Unbelievable service and attention to detail. We loved our stay here and will most definitely be back! The food was 5 star and all the staff members were so friendly and welcoming. Our room had access to the beautiful infinity pool with views of the forest. They made us feel so special as we were celebrating our 20 year anniversary here.
