It is a beautiful place. The room has been warmed up for us before we arrived. So it was nice to enter to a warm and cosy place. Breakfast in front of the firel place was a treat.

The castle is located in a charming mountain village, close to the border with Bulgaria, perfect for a stop on the way to Romania. Having a medieval design, the atmosphere of the castle takes you on a journey through time. Every corner and every object has been chosen with the utmost attention care for details that send you to the adventure period of the knights. The cleanliness of the room and the comfortable beds were a plus. The breakfast was varied and very good. Nearby there are restaurants with a rich menu.
The breakfast staff, although very kind, do not know English to be able to understand us. The breakfast service schedule was one hour late (we were told it was from 7 and we could only be served at 8).
