The best thing about the hotel is definitely the location. On the doorstep to the city easy walking to most of the key sights. Secondly the hotel was very clean throughout. Majority of staff were very very friendly with only a couple who didn’t look happy to be there. The bar area was lovely and comfortable with a lovely view overlooking the river. The room was basic but very clean and perfectly ok for a 2 night stay where we were out and about most of the time
We didn’t eat in hotel except for Breakfast which was average, personally I did not enjoy the food or the coffee.
On one evening returning to the hotel after dinner for a drink in the bar admittedly it was very busy, however there were empty glasses on every table and stayed there for the duration of our time there. My wine was served to me in a hot glass taken directly from the glass washer. Also the bar had a horrible food smell.

Good location, smoking room availability, flexible check in times, housekeeping staff were happy to help.
Leaving luggage unattended at own risk, no mixing taps for hot and cold water, shower head undetachable, lack of power sockets for side tables, first day we booked time slot for breakfast and breakfast was served considerably late. The chef was swearing in the kitchen and dropping the food on the buffet station in an aggressive way. Staff helping themselves from the buffet station.
