The location is remote and rural which we loved. Nature is on your doorstep and surrounded by working farmland. Great location for walkers and adventurers. We did many walks including Thors cave, and stepping stones from the cottage to location and back all beautiful views on every turn.
The accommodation worked for all of the family young and old. Games room, wii, board games for family fun. The cottage was comfortable, warm and fully equipped with all you needed.
Visited Crich tram museum, Pooles Cavern, Abraham Heights, Carsington waters all dog friendly.
Nothing negative. Only feedback upstairs bathroom lock didn't work but that had zero impact on us or the holiday. On booking.com the info I was sent to prepare for my stay told us to bring towels, tea towels, essential items, we needed far less than they said as towels were provided. Kitchen had tea, coffee, milk all the essentials including home cooked cookies and a huge Thorotons Easter egg yum yum thank you

Great location for walking and beautiful scenery. The accommodation was brilliant and the owners are generous…especially with the home made cookies 😎. I would recommend Paddock house to any walking group.

The house is very comfortable, clean and spacious yet cosy too and so well equipped! the location is amazing with beautiful views in every direction and the hosts are just lovely and welcoming. We had a great time and will return!
