About this villa rental
Tuscan villa in the countryside, a short walk from the old town of Stia, a characteristic medieval village. Villa situated in quiet and panoramic position, with all the amenities. Ability to make cooking lessons (on request), or simply to have a cook for a typical Tuscan dinner in the villa (must try!)
Entering from the automatic gate, an elegant road with cypresses will lead you to our Tuscan Villa.
In front of the house there’s a large terrace where you have a beautiful outdoor dining area. There are also several trees around that keep the terrace fresh and shady in hot summer days.
The pool is located in a panoramic position. There are chairs, tables and umbrellas in sufficient quantity for the whole group.
“Il Cuculo” is a 3 storey Villa. The living room is on the ground floor and it’s really spacious and full of light.. Here you find a fire place, a HDMI1 TV, player and a SATELLITE TV.
There are 2 kitchens in the Villa, furnished with all modern facilities: refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, electrical oven, wood over for pizza and a washing machine.
The kitchen is equipped for everything you need for cooking: plates, glasses and pottery in large quantity.
On the 1st floor you find 5 bedrooms which can be reached by a beautiful internal staircase or an external one from the garden terrace.
The master room has a private balcony and 3 arched windows. It is about 40 squared meters so we can add also another double bed (sofa bed).
On the first floor there are two more double rooms and a single room.
There is one more bedroom on the first floor with a fold out double bed, but it’s a walk-trough room if you want to reach the second floor you have to pass it.
On the 2nd floor there’s a mansard room with both a single bed and a double bed. This can be also changed in two single beds on request (so 3 beds here). There is also an ensuite-toilet with shower here.
The 4 toilets are all tiled with coloured Italian ceramics (1 toilet on the ground floor, 1 toilet with shower on the 1st floor, 1 bathroom on the 1st floor and 1 toilet with shower on the second floor).
So there are 380 squared meters inside the Villa and 1000 squared meter outside.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful house. Stia is a cue city and everything is reachable in walking distance.
Pool and view is great, an the fully integrated Pizza Oven was one of my favorites.
The House was clean and the owner very friendly and helpful!

Such a beautiful and authentic villa. A setting no less than perfect for a proper stay in the Italian country side.
Just a 10-minute walk from Stia and yet fully private.
Lucia was the perfect host - always willing and able to help with any questions we had.
We've been spending holidays in Italy for near on 20 years, always agri turismo and this place is up there among the very best. Five-star ratings from me are few and far between, but Lucia and her place definitely earns all five stars.
