Host was wonderful and responded immediately when we had a problem.The location was wonderful with a fabulous grocery store a few steps away. Apartment provided olive oil, balsamic and a few spices making our one night of staying in for dinner easy. Loved our stay here.
Room on 4th floor was quiet.
Other people living in building partied until very late and loud on Friday and Saturday. Fortunately the bedroom has a door separate from entry and could be closed to reduce party noise.

We were first assigned a property that was different from the picture shown in booking.com . It is important to show pictures of property based on on actual address and not state as apartment in different locations . Very misleading ! Bec there were 7 apartments that were of different configurations and sizes
The first apartment we went to was very different from the pictures and we subsequently asked for a change . We pay for an upgrade and the new apartment was great . Cannot ask for more

Very well situated. It is in the center of Florence. The building is very old. 4th floor, but there is an elevator. The furniture is old, chairs are old, table is old, etc. except the main bed, air conditioning, and windows which are noise cancelled (thank goodness, there is a lot of noise in the streets). All the building is apartments.. Alberto is nice, but when you book you don’t know that he will try to charge you 40 euros if you get to the apartment after 20:00. Besides that, he will charge you 6 euros per person, and per day supposedly to pay for a tax to the Council, no receipt obtained on his part.

Time of departure is 10:00 am, which is very early from my point of view.
