A holiday in the Tuscan hills farm Erta.
Erta is a Farm located near an open angle of Casole d'Elsa nature where the animals live free and people open their hearts to the emotions that only our land and our fathers can offer.
Erta is a farmhouse carefully than the traditional rural architecture of the Sienese hills
The apartment Rosa has 4 beds, 2 double bedrooms, living room, a huge kitchen cabinets all in a frame intact arches, beams and old tools used in the campaign. The large garden is used by our guests for delicious dinners under the jasmine pergola, in Gimmy company Erta the giant dog. The ideal apartment for a family.
The pool, open from May to September, measuring 6 × 12 m. and it is surrounded by roses and olive trees. It is a pleasant place to spend an afternoon of leisure or a little 'of relaxation after a day spent exploring the surroundings and and' a great place for a spring or summer party.
Dine on the terrace of Erta is a unique experience.
It sits in front of the sunset while sipping a glass of Risala and time seems to stop.
As the sun disappears behind the hills Varno rests with the discretion of the wonderful products of his oven on the table and disappears silently.
They spend the most peaceful hours of the day, thinking of nothing, chatting with friends and enjoying the passage of time.
Sometimes it is the light of dawn that interrupts the idyll.

Amazing place, only stayed overnight , would highly recommend and definitely return for longer.
Dinner, watching the sunset was beautiful as was the food and wine .

We had an absolutely amazing time staying on Varno’s farm. We arrived after dark and were concerned it may be hard to find the property but GPS worked perfectly and after driving down the long road we were greeted warmly by Varno, his wife and their friendly dogs.
We had dinner at Varno’s restaurant which is a major part of the overall experience. This is a must do! There was no menu but the food and wine flowed all night and everything was delicious and perfectly cooked.
The room and overall property are great and you won’t find a better host!

The moment we got out of the car and saw the incredible grounds, our jaws dropped. It truly is a stunning location. But even more incredible was our host, Varno. We got to know him over the few days we were there -- starting with a spontaneous invite to a bit community dinner in town and ending with the most memorable meal in Varno's restaurant, as we watched the sun set beyond the Tuscan hills. Other things worth noting -- a day trip to Sienna should not be missed, including a visit to the duomo there. And be sure to schedule in some pool time -- what a backdrop!
