About this villa rental
Fico is located in the Monti Pisani, offering stunning views over the red rooftops and medieval churches of the charming town of Calci. The holiday home sits in a peaceful hillside setting, surrounded by olive groves and is perfect for a break with family or friends in the heart of the Tuscan countryside.
The centre of Calci is less than a ten-minute walk away and offers a range of small shops, restaurants, and a COOP supermarket. A highlight is the impressive Certosa di Calci, a 14th-century Carthusian monastery that now houses the Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa. Wine lovers can visit the nearby Fattoria San Vito for tastings of their wines and olive oil. Fico is also ideally located for day trips: Pisa is only 14 km away, Lucca just 25 km, the coast about 40 minutes by car, and even Florence is within easy reach at 80 km.
The yellow-painted, single-storey holiday home features a shaded terrace with a table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. The lovely pool is located at the far end of the house, is fully fenced, and provides extra peace of mind for families with young children. Inside, Fico offers a bright and relaxed atmosphere, with traditional terracotta floors, wooden-beamed ceilings, and comfortable furnishings.
Please note: The access road to the property is paved. However, the final 100 to 500 metres (after the gate) is a steep gravel road with a very tight bend.
