About this villa rental
Limone is set in the Monte Pisani, offering beautiful views over the red rooftops and medieval churches of the charming town of Calci. This holiday home lies in a peaceful hillside location, surrounded by ancient olive groves and is perfect for a relaxing break with family or friends.
The centre of Calci is less than a ten-minute walk away and offers a selection of small shops, restaurants, and a COOP supermarket. A cultural highlight is the impressive Certosa di Calci, a Carthusian monastery founded in the 14th century, now home to the Natural History Museum of the University of Pisa. Wine lovers can visit the nearby Fattoria San Vito for tastings of local wines and olive oil. Limone is also ideally located for day trips: Pisa is just 14 km away, Lucca 25 km, the coast about 40 minutes by car, and even Florence is within easy reach at 80 km.
The yellow-painted, single-storey holiday home has a shaded terrace with table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. The lovely pool lies slightly below the house, is fully fenced, and offers extra peace of mind for families with young children. Inside, Limone offers a bright and welcoming atmosphere, with traditional terracotta floors, wooden-beamed ceilings, and comfortable furnishings.
Please note: The access road to the property is paved; however, the last 100 to 500 metres (after the gate) is a steep gravel road with a very tight bend.
